Blu Proactive Live Assist (Sales Coaching During Calls)

Blu's proactive interaction mode: real-time sales coaching that surfaces on its own during a live call, without you asking for it.

Overview

Blu normally works in reactive mode: you ask a question or type a request, and Blu responds. Proactive Live Assist is different. During an active call in the Intempt desktop app, Blu watches the live transcript and pushes coaching on its own, with nothing typed and no button pressed.

This is the same Blu agent behind every other AI surface in Intempt. Live Assist is just its proactive mode, active only while a call is running.

How it works

The HUD, a small overlay window that appears during a call, opens on the Coach tab by default. As the transcript comes in, Blu checks in automatically:

  • Roughly every 50 words spoken since the last check-in.

  • Whenever the other person starts talking right after you've been speaking.

  • After a few seconds of silence, if there's unanalyzed talk since the last check-in.

Each check-in produces two things: a sentiment read on how the conversation is going (positive, neutral, or negative, shown with a percentage score) and a coaching card. A card is one of two types:

  • Action. Something specific to do or say right now.

  • Strategy. Broader guidance on how to approach the rest of the call.

Blu keeps a short memory of what it's already told you in this call, so it's steered away from repeating the same advice twice in a row.

📘 Good to know

Coaching draws on your project's Brand Kit (tone, personas, pain points, objections) and your company knowledge base, so the advice reflects your actual product and buyers, not generic sales tips. See Setting Up Company Knowledge.

Proactive vs. reactive

Live Assist is one of two ways Blu works with meetings:

  • Reactive. You type a question, ask for a summary, or relabel a speaker, and Blu responds to that specific request.

  • Proactive. Blu surfaces coaching on its own, during the call, without a prompt. This is Live Assist.

Both draw on the same live transcript, but they're separate interaction modes: one waits to be asked, the other doesn't.
