Learning & development plans

Every quarter, each person at Intempt gets an individualized L&D plan. The plan addresses your main growth areas across two dimensions: personal professional skills and company priorities from the weekly CROSP report. Your performance is tracked against the Expectations framework.

Your team lead works with you to identify where to focus. The goal is targeted growth, not a generic checklist. AI fluency is part of every L&D plan - staying current on Claude, Lovable, and new AI tooling is as important as domain skills. What matters to your career and what matters to the company should overlap as much as possible.

📈 Performance levels

Performance is reviewed yearly. Each person falls into one of four levels.

🔴 0. Below expectations

Inconsistent output. Requires close supervision. May not meet all goals. This results in a performance improvement plan.

🟡 1. Meets expectations

Regularly meets goals, sometimes exceeds them. Collaborative, skilled, and reliable. This is the baseline for solid contributors.

🟢 2. Exceeds expectations

Significantly and consistently exceeds what's expected. Role model behavior across the team. This level leads to promotions.

🚀 3. Performing at next level

Far exceeds normal expectations. Extraordinary accomplishments that go well beyond the current role. Already operating at the next level up.

The plan is about where you're going. The review is about where you stand. Different things. Both matter. AI adoption speed is tracked as part of growth - the faster you integrate AI into your daily work, the faster you grow.
