Intempt social code
We want you to feel safe, happy, free, and able to express yourself authentically.
We don't tolerate bad behavior, racism, or harassment. If something makes you uncomfortable, speak up. We will listen. This page complements our Diversity and Values pages.
Our social code
We foster a respectful, collaborative environment. The following behaviors are not acceptable at Intempt:
- Offending, heated altercations, or disrupting the workplace
- Intimidating, pestering, humiliating, victimizing, or sabotaging others
- Discrimination based on age, sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity, race, religion, or disability
Addressing harassment
If you experience or witness harassment, you have several options:
- Talk to the offender directly (minor cases where you feel safe doing so)
- Talk to your team lead
- Talk to HR (any case, no matter how small)
- Talk to the confidential counselor
If you report an assault to police, Intempt provides full support throughout the process.
What's not acceptable
- Sabotaging someone's work
- Unwanted advances
- Derogatory comments
- Spreading rumors
- Ridiculing someone
- Singling someone out
Sexual harassment
We take this very seriously. Our principles:
- No one has the right to harass anyone
- It's never too minor to report
- It's about how we make others feel, not our intent
- Every claim is legitimate unless proven otherwise
- No further victimization of the person reporting
- Supporters and overlookers are equally at fault
Disciplinary measures
- Verbal warning
- Official written warning
- Suspension
- Termination
For how we handle termination and exit processes, see the Firing page.
Some things we discourage
- No political or religious discussions on company time
- No personal benefits derived from your position
- No committees -- individual responsibility instead
- No 360 reviews -- straight manager-employee feedback
- No forgetting what we do here -- we make marketing and data software
