🪑 Ergonomics and routine
Your desk, monitor, lighting, and chair matter more than you think. Small improvements compound. Your back will thank you in 5 years.
- Position your monitor at eye level - looking down strains your neck
- If using a laptop, get a separate keyboard and a stand or riser
- Noise-canceling headphones help if your environment is loud
- Good lighting reduces eye strain - natural light is best
🕐 Working routine
Remote freedom is real, but so is remote drift. A routine keeps you sane:
- Don't work from bed. Set boundaries for when work starts and ends
- Make a task list each day so you know what done looks like
- Unplug when you're done - close the laptop, leave the desk, take real breaks
