Growth channels

Growth channels

The channels Product & Growth runs: PLG distribution, the creator and UGC program, paid media, and the campaign and coupon offers behind them.

This is the Product & Growth channel index. These are the signup channels the Product & Growth team runs directly: the product sharing itself, the creator and UGC program, paid media on that creator UGC, and the campaign and coupon offers that sweeten the first payment. The long game, the brand and awareness side, is Marketing's: content, SEO and AEO, social, founder brand, and partnerships, listed under marketing channels. Enterprise is Sales.

How the strategies fit together across all three teams is in how growth works. Every channel below lands a new person on the same free plan.

One rule sits over all of them: we sell the engine. Every channel ladders to the thesis in who-we-build-for: a context warehouse plus five tools plus Blu agents is a self-driving GTM engine, and the more truth-seeking a team is to its customers, the faster it grows. A placement, an ad, or a shared page that does not say that is off-brand.

The Product & Growth channels

These are PLG plus the direct, recipe-based UGC ads. They are the growth experiments and growth programs the team runs, cheapest-compounding first.

Media buying sits here, not on Marketing, because the paid we run is paid on our own creator UGC. The creator program feeds the ads, and the ads buy reach the product loop cannot reach on its own. Campaigns and coupons are run by Product & Growth too, as a shared service: Sales and Marketing can ask for a code, Product & Growth owns the offer and the terms.

The Marketing channels, for contrast

Marketing runs the long game, off-surface, and it is detailed under marketing channels:

  • Owned content, SEO, AEO. Deep first-party content that ranks in search and gets cited by answer engines. Detail in owned-content-seo-aeo.
  • Partnerships. Affiliates, agencies, and the VC and accelerator portfolios on the Intempt Collective, plus startup programs.
  • Social and founder brand. The owned social channels and a practitioner building in public, covered in how we run marketing.

A channel brings the person; the free plan, the AI credits, and the offer codes do the rest.

How each channel feeds the one loop

The channels are not separate funnels. They are ways to put a stranger into the same free plan, where AI credits turn a signup into an activated user, and an activated user shares, which feeds the top of the loop again.

  • PLG distribution is the loop itself: every shared booking page, recording, dashboard, and free-tool result carries a powered-by badge, so the product spreads the product. Cheapest, and most of it is already built.
  • The creator and UGC program reaches audiences the product loop never touches, through people our ICP already trusts. Creators earn on who they bring and on the ad spend their footage runs, so the channel pays for itself as it runs.
  • Paid and UGC ads buy reach up front, before any sharing or rev-share has accrued. Creator UGC supplies the creative; Product & Growth runs it as paid media.
  • Campaigns and coupons are the offer on the way in: a Launch code that discounts the first invoices, requested by any team and owned by Product & Growth.

Every one of them ends in the same place: a new free workspace. From there the loop in growth-flywheel takes over.

The two engines underneath

Two things make the channels compound instead of just spend, and no competitor has the first one:

  • The recipe engine. Users and creators publish recipes (named plays Blu runs). A published recipe is organic discovery and an in-product play at once, and it earns its author 20% of the credits it burns in other orgs. More authors, more recipes, more acquisition and more royalty. It shows up across these channels and in Marketing's content.
  • The monetization engine. Free users convert to paid (seats, AI Pass, usage). That revenue funds the rev-share and royalties that fuel the creator and sharing loops, so the loop pays for itself rather than running on subsidy.

The one number

Everything on this page is a lever on a single number: activated free workspaces per week, and the self-serve new revenue behind it. We report it with a source and a pull date, never a target pulled from the air, because the numbers live in dashboards this repo cannot read.

Who owns what

  • Product & Growth owns these channels: PLG and the sharing surfaces, the creator and UGC program, paid media and the media buying on creator UGC, campaigns and coupons, and the whole loop from a landing surface to an activated, paying workspace.
  • Marketing owns the long game off-surface: content, SEO, AEO, social, founder brand, and partnerships (affiliates, agencies, startup programs).
  • Sales owns enterprise outbound and the GTM engineering behind it.
  • Payments owns the payout rails, the credit model, and the ad-spend and commission flows.

Each team is graded weekly: the product and growth health score, the marketing health score, and the sales health score.
