Creator in Residence
Run your GTM on Intempt for real, in public, and make people want to run theirs on it too.
Marketing. Remote. Full-time. Practitioner. Hiring now.
Team: Marketing. We run the long game off-surface: content, SEO and AEO, social, founder brand, and partnerships. This seat runs a real GTM on Intempt in public and the owned social channels, and feeds the UGC that Product & Growth's creator program turns into ads. Measured on the audience it builds and the installs and signups it lands on a surface.
About the role
Clay created the GTM Engineer: the person who builds the machine. The next role is the Creator in Residence: the person who makes people want to use it. Clay has one, Alex Lindahl, a founding GTM Engineer who now runs a weekly GTM newsletter, hosts a show, and ships skills to Clay's marketplace. Pitch, Superpower, AKOOL, and Intro are all hiring the same title right now. Here is ours.
You are not a marketer running a content calendar. You are a practitioner who builds in public. You run a real go-to-market motion on Intempt, the self-driving GTM engine, and then you show the work: the recipes you shipped, the campaigns you ran, the agents you set loose, the numbers they returned. You do the work, then you show the work. That is the whole job.
We already have the product. What we are investing in is distribution through a person. Someone whose own GTM, run in the open on Intempt, is the best ad the product could have, and who builds an audience that follows them into it.
The thesis
The GTM Engineer was about building the machine: data, signals, outbound, automated end to end. The Creator in Residence is about making people want to use it. Four more companies opening the same title in one quarter is the signal: once the product exists, the constraint is distribution, and the highest-trust distribution is one credible person doing the work in public. That is the role.
What you'll own
- Run a real GTM motion on Intempt, in public. Outbound, lifecycle, experiments, the Blu agents, your own pipeline and your own numbers. Not a demo account seeded for a screenshot. The real thing, with real results and real misses.
- A weekly publication. A GTM newsletter in your name: what you built that week, the play, the setup, the result. This is the spine of the role, the way Clay's is. You own the voice and the cadence.
- A show. A recurring video series, long and short. Screen-record the real play, narrate the decisions, publish what worked and what did not. Specific beats polished.
- Recipes. Ship the named plays Blu runs as recipes other teams can run, and publish them. The best ones become the thing people copy, and they earn on every run under the Intempt Collective. Target a new one most weeks.
- Short-form, platform-native. Reels, Shorts, TikToks, LinkedIn clips cut from the real work. You know your hook rate and your watch time by heart.
- The owned social channels. Intempt's Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn run through you, cut from the real work, so the brand's social reads like a creator's, not a brand account's.
- Stage and community. Podcasts, events, the Blu community. Be a named person people follow, not a brand account. Reply, stitch, comment, be human.
- Dogfood and feed product first. You hit the rough edges before customers do, and you are the fastest, loudest internal signal on what to fix.
A week in the role
- Pick a real GTM problem you have, or a customer does, and solve it on Intempt start to finish.
- Record it as you go. The teardown writes itself when the work is real.
- Ship the recipe, publish the newsletter issue, cut three to five short clips from the footage, post them native to each platform.
- Read the numbers on last week's content and last week's play, and let that pick next week's topic.
- Once a month, go deeper: a show episode, a conference talk, or a flagship teardown that travels.
What success looks like
- An owned audience that is growing and engaged: subscribers, followers, and real operators in the replies, not vanity reach.
- Signups and activated free workspaces attributed to your content and your recipes.
- Recipes other teams actually run, measured by the credits they burn in other orgs.
- Intempt associated with your name in the GTM conversation, so your move here is a story the audience follows.
You are
- A practitioner first. You have actually run GTM, outbound, lifecycle, or growth and have the results to show, not a strategy deck about it.
- A builder in public by instinct. You already post what you ship, because you cannot not, and you can show the numbers.
- Technical enough to run an agentic GTM stack without hand-holding, and to explain it so an operator gets it in one watch.
- A creator across formats: you can write a newsletter people open, shoot on your phone, edit fast, and be on camera, or make the product the star when you are not.
- Prolific. You would rather ship ten real things this month than one perfect thing next quarter.
- Comfortable being the face. The audience follows you, and you bring them with you.
How you're set up to win
- The product is the proof. A context warehouse, five tools, and the Blu agents, the self-driving GTM engine. You run your real motion on it, so the content is never staged.
- The free plan with no time limit and a seeded demo project, so anything you publish, your audience can go run themselves in five minutes.
- The Intempt Collective. Your recipes earn a royalty, and the referred signups your content drives earn too, so your audience and your upside compound together.
- No approval chains. You ship. If a piece does not perform, you figure out why and make a better one. Full ownership, the same creative freedom the rest of marketing runs on.
Tech stack
- Intempt. You will live in it: the context warehouse, the five tools, the Blu agents.
- The GTM tooling an operator knows: Clay-style data and outbound, a CRM, an analytics view.
- CapCut / Premiere, Canva, an iPhone.
- A newsletter platform, LinkedIn / YouTube / X.
Not a fit if
- You are a brand marketer who has never actually run the plays you would be filming.
- You need a brief and three rounds of approval before you post.
- You will not be on camera or build in public under your own name.
- Your best work is a campaign nobody outside the company ever saw.
