Internet Comedian
Make Intempt something people send to their friends. Memes, sketches, recurring characters, trend remixes - content people actually share.
Marketing. Remote. Full-time. 1+ years. Hiring now.
Team: Marketing. We run the long game off-surface: content, SEO and AEO, social, founder brand, and partnerships. It makes every direct channel cheaper. This seat runs organic on the owned social channels, measured on qualified visitors and signups landing on a surface.
About the role
Social is the new SEO. In the inbound era you scaled with blog posts. Now you scale with memes and content people choose to pass along. To be found, you have to be relevant online, and most B2B marketing still sounds like a corporate induction.
You make Intempt something people send to their friends. Memes, short sketches, recurring characters, an AI remix of whatever trend is live this week. You understand internet culture because you live in it.
AI gives you more ways to execute: mock up a character, cut a clip, try five versions fast. What it does not give you is the taste to know what is actually funny. That part is you. You see what people are already laughing about and you know how to put our product inside the joke.
The thesis
The best B2B social right now reads like a person, not a brand account. When someone complimented Meta's social team on the Muse launch, the exec said he was posting himself: he would not let the corporate slop near the feed. That instinct is the job. You are the reason Intempt's feed is funny enough to follow, and you work next to the Creator in Residence and the Creative Director so the whole top of the funnel reads as internet-native.
What you'll own
- Make Intempt share-worthy: memes, sketches, recurring bits, trend remixes.
- Watch internet culture daily and move on a trend the same day, not the next sprint.
- Write and ship content with a point of view, a real voice, not a brand account.
- Turn product features and customer moments into jokes people repost.
- Use AI to produce several versions quickly, then pick and polish the one that lands.
- Keep the corporate slop away from the feed.
You are
- You can do this or you can't. Show us the posts, not a strategy deck.
- Fluent in internet culture and platform-native humor.
- A fast writer with a comedic instinct: you know why something is funny, not just that it is.
- Able to put a technical product into a joke without explaining the joke.
- Prolific. You post because you can't not, not because it was assigned.
- Comfortable with a voice that has an edge. Polished and safe is the failure mode here.
Not a fit if
- Your humor needs three rounds of legal approval.
- You think B2B content has to be serious to be credible.
- Your best work reads like it came out of a brand guideline.
