Data Residency

1. United States only

Intempt hosts all customer data in the United States, on Amazon Web Services. That is the only data residency we offer. We do not run hosting in the European Union, India or any other region, and no customer runs on a non-US location. Every subprocessor we use is also hosted in the United States, as listed on our Subprocessors page.

2. How international transfers work

If you collect personal data outside the United States, it is transferred to the United States for processing. Our Data Processing Addendum covers those transfers, applies automatically to every account including free, and needs no separate signature.

We have completed a Transfer Impact Assessment under EDPB Recommendations 01/2020. A copy is available on written request to privacy@intempt.com. Under Article 27 of the GDPR, our EU Representative is MB Intempt Technologies, Odminių g. 11-4, Vilnius, LT-01122, Lithuania.

3. The privacy laws we build for

One hosting region does not mean one privacy regime. We aim to comply with as many privacy laws as we can, and give you the controls to meet your own obligations under them. Our contracts and policies address these today:

If your business is subject to a law that is not listed, contact privacy@intempt.com before you send us data, so we can confirm whether the platform fits your obligations.

4. Retention is your choice

Hosting location is fixed. How long your data is held is not. You choose the retention level, and event retention and user profile retention are set separately, within the maximum in our Data Processing Addendum.
