Three things you pay for
Everything on your bill is one of these. For the current numbers, see the pricing page.
Seats
One seat per person who logs in. Your plan tier sets the per-seat price and the monthly credits each seat includes. Add or remove seats whenever your team changes.
Credits
One currency for everything the platform does for you: AI generation and the usage meters for analytics, journeys, experiences and recommendations. You spend credits as you use them, and you never price each feature separately.
Storage
The one thing credits do not cover. Stored data is billed on its own by how long you keep it, so a short retention window costs less than a long one. It stays separate so your usage and your retention never get tangled.
Credits are one currency
Every kind of usage draws from the same balance. Credits reach you through a few routes, and each has its own shelf life. They are always spent oldest-expiring first.
Plan credits
The monthly credits your seats include. They roll over while you stay subscribed and expire two months after they land, so a quiet month is not wasted.
Credit Pack
A recurring add-on when your plan credits run short. Same two-month rollover as plan credits, renewed every month alongside your subscription.
Top-Ups
A one-time pack of credits you buy when you need more right now. They last a full year from purchase, so they are there when you need them.
Free credits
On the Free plan, a weekly grant that resets every Monday, plus a one-time bonus when you sign up. Use-it-or-lose-it each week.
Commitment credits
Credits you prepay on a Savings Plan, granted in full when the term starts and good for the whole term. A slow month never forfeits them.
What draws credits
One balance covers the whole platform. Here is what each product draws as you use it, and the one thing that is billed on its own.
Credits, as you run it
Analytics
Dashboards, funnels, retention and attribution. Reports and the scores that recalculate on every event draw from your credit balance, so a heavy analysis month costs more than a quiet one.
Credits, per step run
Journeys
Automated multi-step campaigns across channels. A journey draws credits as it runs: each step it carries out for a person is metered usage.
Credits, as you serve it
Experiences
On-site and in-product personalization. Serving a personalized experience draws from the same balance as everything else, counted as you serve it.
Credits, per set returned
Recommendations
Product and content recommendations. Each set the engine returns is metered usage, drawn in credits, so you pay for what you actually surface.
Credits, per operation
AI generation
Everything Blu writes, designs or decides. AI generation is priced per operation and deducted the moment it runs. On Enterprise you can bring your own AI key and pay only Intempt's platform portion in credits.
Billed separately, by retention
Storage
Stored customer data is the one thing credits do not cover. It is billed on its own by how long you keep it, so your usage and your retention window never distort each other.
Two ways to buy
Start flexible, then lock in a lower rate once your usage settles. See the Savings Plan for how the commitment tiers work.
Pay-as-you-go
Monthly and self-serve. Pay for seats and the usage you run, change or cancel any time, no commitment.
Best when you are still finding your footing and want to stay flexible.
Savings Plan
You commit to a term and an amount on an order form, and the rate drops the more you commit. Credits are prepaid and last the whole term.
Best once your usage is steady and you want the lowest rate.
Bring your own AI key
On Enterprise, connect your own model provider key. Your provider bills you for the raw compute, and Intempt charges only its platform portion in credits. It brings down what you spend with us on AI. Keys live in your API keys settings, kept apart from billing.
